Soft drinks contain large amounts of phosphorous, which throw off the body's calcium/phosphorous ratio, decreasing calcium, which is vital to your health.

For anyone over 40, soft drinks are particularly hazardous because the kidneys are less able to excrete phosphorous. Heavy soft drink consumption can interfere with the body's metabolism of iron and diminish transmission of impulses through the nervous system. They interact with antacids and antibiotics and can cause nausea, vomiting, headaches, and kidney damage. The average 12 ounce cola contains 7 teaspoons of refined sugar.

Diet sodas are low in calories but high in sodium. Salt is just as dangerous to your health as sugar, because it causes retention of water and can add pounds instead of subtracting calories.

All of these findings appear in medical literature, yet no manufacturer or seller may mention them in connection with a vitamin C product.

Frozen foods: Frozen foods contain little or no nutritional value. Microwaving depletes the value of the foods you eat.The Controversy Against Milk. Milk has 65 percent saturated fatty acids and only 4 percent unsaturated. If you are concerned about arteriosclerosis, an acknowledged precursor to heart attacks, milk can be dangerous because these fatty particles in homogenized whole milk can pass through the stomach wall into the bloodstream, causing cholesterol buildup.

Milk, itself, does not contain the proper daily amount of calcium. Three 8 ounce glasses are not sufficient, plus they contain 360 mg of sodium, 33 mg of cholesterol, 15 grams of saturated fat, and 577 calories. Never trust non-dairy creamers. Most contain sodium casseinate, which can cause allergies, kidney damage, and possible birth defects.

“The worn gears in meat grinder were rusty and caked with bits of old fat and meat. Paint was scaling of the equipment and falling into the vats. Fresh meat was stored in rusty tubs. Evidence of rats were everywhere where meat was being handled. The animals are kept alive and fattened by the continuous administration of tranquilizers, hormones, antibiotics, and 2,700 other FDA approved drugs. Meat packing plants or slaughter houses are infernos of nauseous smells, pools of blood, and screams of terrified animals, many skinned alive.Toxic wastes, including uric acid, are present in the blood and tissue, as also are dead and virulent bacteria, not only from the putrefaction process, but from animal diseases, such as hoof and mouth disease, contagious abortion, swine fever, malignant tumors, etc. Similarly, meat contains vaccines injected into the animals against prevalent diseases.All of today’s food animals, no exceptions..the proud and passionate chickens, the friendly steadfast pigs, the gentle-hearted pigs, the gentle-hearted cows..are treated in a manner that would sicken any open-hearted person who had eyes to see what was actually happening.”
